Throughout my career, I’ve always found that the brands connecting with our emotions are the ones that we remember. 

Not the ones who follow a fleeting trend, or churn out materia
When I designed the Brand Clarity Workbook, it took me ages to decide on the cover picture. 

I didn’t want to add one of myself because well, what relevance does that have? And anything too obvious can cheapen the whole thing.

To mark the 45th anniversary of Closer by Joy Division, I went to my first @pitchblackplayback session — a full album played in total darkness, blindfolded, no phones, no visuals.
