Things I’m working on: Part 01

…and why you’ll want to follow along

Most projects begin with a timeline, a deadline, a brief and a budget.

Sometimes, I’ll be blessed with the unique type that begins with a conversation, a cup of coffee, and paper samples. An idea that has a life of its own — it stirs quietly, asks to be shaped slowly, and doesn’t reveal its full form until further down the line.

I’m deep in the middle of two projects just like this, right now.

They’re still unfolding — which is exactly how I like it. Both are collaborations built on trust, slowness, and physical craft. They refuse to be rushed and ask you to pay attention, they remind you what branding and storytelling are really about: presence.

I won’t give everything away just yet. But here’s a little of what’s happening behind the scenes.

One is a book… But not just a book.

It’s hand bound, limited, and built with intention from the first conversation to the final stamp. It brings together a ceramicist, a photographer, and a designer — exploring how making and meaning intertwine, and how imperfection isn’t just accepted but embraced.

We’re documenting the full process as carefully as we create the object itself. Every choice — from the texture of the paper to the way it opens — is deliberate. It’s a love letter to impermanence, and a quiet rebellion against anything disposable.

It’s already teaching us a lot about what happens when you give an idea the time it needs to take shape.

The other is a menu. But it’s not what you think.

Menus usually tell you what to consume. This one invites you to pause. To choose a moment with yourself. To indulge in solitude, not out of loneliness — but as a form of self respect.

It’s a collaboration between design and coaching, blending tactile creativity with emotional intelligence. A physical object is taking shape, but so is something bigger: the potential for community, ritual, and a different kind of event. Where being alone isn’t pitied or pathologised — it’s celebrated.

It’s honest. It’s beautiful. And it’s built on a single idea we both believe deeply: that choosing yourself is one of the most powerful things you can do.

What these projects have in common

Neither of them fits neatly into a category — they’re part print, part brand, part experience. They're layered, slow, sensory. And they’re both deeply collaborative — not just in their making, but in the way they invite others in.

We’ve been sharing snippets with those closest to us — and the response has been overwhelmingly clear: this is the kind of work people want more of.

Which is why I’m telling you now.

Because if this resonates — if you're dreaming of a project with weight, texture, meaning, and time — I’d love to hear from you. Whether it's a book, a menu, an immersive space or a brand that goes deeper, this is exactly the kind of work I live for.

I’m not looking for fast. I’m looking for real.

And if that’s you? Let’s talk.

Follow along the with the story as these projects grow and develop.
